HOSTING TERMS
Clear expectations for hosting services.
These terms explain the practical boundaries of hosting services supplied or arranged by BDSaint.
Last updated: 19 October 2026Service scope
Hosting plans are supplied according to the resources, billing cycle and features confirmed in your quote or invoice. Storage, mailboxes, databases, processing power, transfer allowances, management and support are limited to the selected plan and written scope.
Client responsibilities
- Keep account, contact, domain and billing information accurate.
- Maintain lawful content and required licences for software, themes and plugins.
- Keep website applications and passwords secure where this is outside BDSaint’s agreed management scope.
- Maintain your own current copy of important content and data.
Backups, availability and support
Backup arrangements, recovery assistance, monitoring and support hours depend on the selected service. Unless a written agreement says otherwise, hosting is not a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, disaster recovery or restoration of every file, email or database record.
Data and privacy
Customers remain responsible for the legality of content and personal information placed on their websites. Where BDSaint processes personal information for a customer in providing a service, the parties may need written data-processing terms that reflect the actual service, roles and applicable South African privacy obligations.
Suspension and changes
BDSaint may suspend or limit a service where required to address non-payment, a security incident, unlawful activity, resource abuse or a credible risk to other customers or systems. Where practical, we will give notice and work toward a safe resolution.
Renewals and cancellation
Recurring prices, renewal dates, notice requirements and migration steps are confirmed in the relevant quote, invoice or service agreement. Request cancellation or a migration in writing early enough to protect your website, email and domain continuity.
