COOKIES
A clear explanation of cookies.
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. This page explains the technologies BDSaint uses and why they are used.
Last updated: 19 October 2026Essential site technologies
BDSaint uses essential technologies needed to operate the website safely and reliably. For example, the quote form uses a short-lived session to help protect it against forgery and misuse. These are not used to build an advertising profile.
Google Analytics
BDSaint uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated website use. It can help us see information such as the pages people visit, broad device and browser information, approximate location, referral source, and engagement with ordinary site features. We use this to improve the website and its content, not to identify you personally.
We do not intentionally send quote-form fields, email addresses, telephone numbers or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Third-party content
The contact page embeds a Google Map. Google may set or read cookies when that map loads, subject to Google’s own policies. You can avoid that embedded content by using the direct map link instead.
Your controls
Your browser lets you view, delete or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some forms or features from working properly. You can also use Google’s available browser controls to manage how Google Analytics operates.
Privacy and updates
Where cookies or similar technologies process personal information, BDSaint handles that information in line with its Privacy Policy and applicable South African privacy requirements, including POPIA. We may update this policy when website technology changes. For questions, contact info@bdsaint.co.za.
